My Journey:

Throughout my career, I've experienced firsthand the challenges that many of us face in the modern workplace. Burnout, anxiety, and the constant pressure to conform to societal expectations have been significant parts of my story. Diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, I’ve learned to navigate the intricacies of this condition while juggling the demands of work and life. The journey hasn't always been smooth, but it has been profoundly enlightening.
My experience with people-pleasing, insecurity, and imposter syndrome has taught me the value of authenticity and self-compassion. I believe that our lived experiences shape our uniqueness, and embracing these experiences rather than masking them to fit into unhealthy societal norms is key to finding true belonging – especially with oneself.

With the support of a strong community and professional guidance from coaching and psychotherapy throughout my life, I've cultivated a reflexive mindset that helps me navigate my life from a more grounded place.

My experience of receiving such invaluable support has solidified my calling as a guide for others on their journeys, creating a safe space for the essential conversations that help to uncover our authentic selves and live a life aligned with our true values.

My Coaching
Philsophy
As a coach, I strive for an anti-oppressive and love-led practice.

A love-led approach means I'm dedicated to upholding your honor and dignity during our collaboration. Meeting you where you are, I'll work with compassion and without judgment to co-create a coaching style tailored to your unique journey, ensuring it's both creative and effective.

An anti-oppressive approach involves examining how oppressive systems within your community, society, or ancestry have influenced your lived experience and thought patterns. By understanding your collided worldview, we can honor your experiences, unlearn disempowering beliefs, and develop a worldview and actionable habits that empower you to be your best self. In this approach, I actively work to minimize power dynamics by seeking constructive feedback and continuing my own journey of unlearning internalized biases.
Social Location
Social location plays a significant role in shaping our identities and perspectives. While this information doesn't fully define me, sharing my social location can offer insights into how I engage with the world in our societal context, aiding your assessment of whether I align with your needs.

I use she/her pronouns and identify as a middle-class, queer, cis-gender woman of Chinese descent, residing as a settler on Turtle Island. Being diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood has brought me to a greater sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance. This journey has enabled me to recognize and embrace my unique learning styles and well-being needs.

My social responsibility involves confronting my complex mix of privileges and oppressions influenced by colonialism, misogyny, and patriarchy. This includes addressing biases related to anti-Indigenous beliefs, anti-Blackness, ableism, classism, sanism, citizenship, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
Below is the education I've received that has influenced my capacity as an expert in guiding transformative journeys:
